Refund Policy

RETURN POLICY

 

RETURN

At Washroom Essentials, you can return purchased items within 14 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging, with all the manuals and accessories intact and in the same condition as you received it.  

 

Only regular priced items can be returned. Sale items, unless damaged when received, cannot be returned simply because of change of mind. You will be responsible for the shipping of the returned item and the shipping cost is not refundable.

 

We will require a receipt or proof of purchase to be eligible for return. 

 

Please do not return your product directly to the manufacturer. As the purchase was made through us, the product must be returned to us for proper processing.

 

Some types of goods are exempted from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept intimate products or those used for sanitary, hazardous, or contain flammable liquids or gases. 

 

 Additional non-returnable items: 

  • Gift cards 
  • Downloadable software products 
  • Some health and personal care items 

 

REFUND (if applicable) 

Once your returned item is received, we will send you an email notification of the receipt of your item. After inspection, we will send another email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your refund application.

 

If your refund application is approved, we will process your refund within 7 days. Your refund will be credited to your credit card or the original method of payment used during purchase. 

 

These are instances where partial refunds can be granted (if applicable):

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in the original packaging, with damaged or missing parts due to the customer’s negligence or while on transit to us during shipping.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

In the event of a delayed or missing refund, please contact your bank or credit card company to ensure that the refund has not been received. Crediting of refund may take some time depending on the policy and process of the bank or the credit card company.

 

Once you are done contacting your bank and/or credit card company, and your refund is still late or missing, please contact us at support@washroomessentials.com.au 

 

Sale items (if applicable)

Exchanges (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are found to be defective or damaged after inspection. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@washroomessentials.com.au and send your item to: 32 Reservoir Crescent, Rowville VIC 3178, Australia. 

 

Gifts 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

 

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will be informed about your return. 

 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Any damages incurred during shipping will be the responsibility of the customer and not Washroom Essentials.

 

Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to arrive will vary. 

 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item even if it is sent to the address provided.
